Primary therapist for children living in a domestic violence shelter program with their mothers.  Responsiblitieis included individual and family therapy, development of therapeutic programs for all children living in the shelter.

Columbia Community Mental Health, 1996-1999

A contracted mental-health and prevention specialist working with elementary, junior high and high school students at Columbia County schools.  Identified and treated at-risk youth in group and individual settings as well as provided parenting education, family counseling, drug and alcohol prevention and treatment.

Trillium Family Services, 2000-2005

A primary therapist for children and families seeking outpatient mental health services in Southeast Portland and Clinical Supervisor for all outpatient therapists. Additionally, I was the primary therapist for children placed into Trillium's therapeutic foster care program working with a treatment team that included the children, families, DHS and schools to ensure successful placement.

White Shield is a non-profit residential treatment center for teenage girls in Northwest Portland.  Girls are referred to this program throughout Oregon to receive an array of services including mental health treatment, drug and alcohol treatment, parenting education, skills development and school placement. Responsibilities included the implementation and oversight of treatment protocols, evidence-based programming, hiring and clinical supervision of treatment staff, client assessment and crisis intervention.

 

Behavioral Health Specialist 2, QMHP

Oregon Department of Corrections

Coffee Creek Correctional Facility, 2019-2021

Provided mental health treatment for adults in custody at the only all-women's prison in Oregon. Responsibilities included indivudal therapy, DBT group treatment, mental health case management and collaboration with medical and psychiatric teams.
